Nail Tech

I first started my nail business back in 2019, I was only young and still in college! I remember the first set I ever did was £5, which is crazy to think! I only had a little set up in my bedroom with the smallest selection of nail products. It wasn’t until the beginning of 2020 I started to realise that doing nails wasn’t only a small hobby. So, I took the leap to start my business properly in a salon, and lockdown was a time for me to focus on getting better, I just remember spending all my time practicing.

Now I’m fully booked more or less every week for a month in advance, I count myself so lucky each and every day that all my clients chose me to be their nail tech!

  1. Before I come across Solo, I was just using a trusty paper diary and I would spend a lot of my time around working hours to sit with my diary and schedule everyone in, it’s not until now that I’ve realised how much time that took out of my day and free time!

  2. I am so glad I found Solo, it has honestly made my job so much easier. After working long days I found it hard to find the motivation to reply to messages and be back and forth with clients with my availability. Where as now all I need to do is click a button to accept or decline a booking, no hassle of clients asking when I'm available and so on, they can just look online! All my clients love it too.

This may sound silly but Solo has made me feel so much more positive and professional with their system and to have everything all in one place makes me feel so much more organised, it's like a massive weight off my shoulders knowing that I don't have to spend a lot of my time doing bookings etc.

One of my favourite things about Solo is being able to get some sort of idea of what nail design/treatment my client is going to have for their appointment, also with the email reminders that come with the system! This saves me having to message all my clients/worry about any no shows and last minute cancellations!

  5. Ever since joining Solo I can't help myself but praise this system. I could honestly never go back to having a paper diary, it's so easy to have everything on my phone without having to lug around a diary. Also to those that are using any other booking system, I promise you this is the best one, Solo is the ONLY system I have never heard a bad word about. It will honestly change your life, it has changed the game for me big time!
